The CMF Phone 2 Pro brings a lot of improvements to the CMF series. The latest smartphone from the brand offers a sleeker design language and a good in-hand feel. The handset provides decent performance and a good value-for-money proposition in this price segment. The cameras are capable of taking some good photos in different lighting conditions. The CMF Phone 2 Pro also has a good battery life, lasting slightly more than a day and having moderate to heavy usage. That said, if you are looking for an all-around package and want to experience a clean user interface, consider this smartphone. 

The Moto G85 5G is a mid-range smartphone that is desiged to combines a modern design with reliable performance. It boasts a large curved display with a high refresh rate for smooth visuals and vibrant colours that enable users to watch content on a range of applications.

Powered by a recently launched midrange processor, the Moto G85 handles multitasking and gaming efficiently and comes with enough memory and internal storage, which are both expandable as per your needs.

For photography, the Moto G85 features a dual-camera setup with optical image stabilisation (OIS). It also has a high-resolution front-facing camera for selfies. The It packs a large battery with support for fast charging, ensuring all-day use.

Running on Android 14, the Moto G85 5G includes useful software features and security updates but comes with some bloatware and notification spam. Its practical design includes a plastic frame and back, and the phone has an IP54 dust and splash resistance rating.

The HMD Fusion is a fun budget smartphone with reasonably priced accessories that somehow elevate its otherwise lacklustre software experience. Looks are subjective, but we are fans of its practical and industrial translucent design, which also makes it very easy to access its interior.

This phone isn’t built to perform but for those who love to explore, tinker and repair their own devices. Given this approach, there’s not much room for performance, and whenever it does, the phone does heat up.

Software is a bit of a mixed bag. It’s near-stock, but loaded with preinstalled apps and not optimised to take advantage of the hardware. Camera performance is a bit below average, and the same goes for battery performance. But wired charging speeds were up to expectations.

Performance is good for daily use but is mostly mid-range when it comes to gaming. Magic OS offers some interesting software features but comes with the regular Huawei bloatware.

Camera performance is not good. Neither of its three rear-facing cameras performs up to expectations in daylight and the things only get worse in low light conditions.

Battery life with the large battery is rock solid and makes this otherwise slim device a proper road warrior. However, charging is quite slow when compared to most devices at this price point. Moreover, Honor does not offer a charger in the box.
